There is a concerted effort to move away from solvented adhesives due to concerns about health and safety of users and the environment. This presentation aims to give a brief outline to the issues surrounding solvented adhesives and summarise alternatives including water-based and hot melt adhesives. It will also provide a brief review of the differences in application and properties that would be encountered in using these other technologies.
