Hockley Pattern & Tool excels with Verisurf

One of the leaders in the field of tooling manufacturing in the UK is Birmingham-based Hockley Pattern & Tool Company. It supplies high-quality tools domestically and internationally to a variety of major aerospace and automotive manufacturers and their supply chains.

When Hockley identified a need to invest in upgraded metrology software, it turned to Verisurf, a package provided by Make Measurement Matter exhibitor Metrology UK. The decision was based on the ease of use and powerful ‘live build’ functionality of Verisurf for all the portable metrology devices including its Romer Arms, Faro Trackers, CMM and scanning technologies.

Verisurf is a flagship software metrology product used worldwide by many manufacturers to control product manufacture from design to completion. It continues to pioneer the ‘digital blueprint’ (MBD) and sets the standard for CAD-based metrology software for automating FAIR’s. Verisurf is the singular platform product for all portable metrology devices, manual and automated CMM’s with full reverse engineering and CAD solid modelling in one package, and can be discussed in detail on the Metrology UK stand at the forthcoming Make Measurement Matter event on March 12th.

Make Measurement Matter is backed by the GTMA and showcases the latest advances in metrology and measurement excellence for manufacturing industry. This one-day opportunity provides senior engineers with a platform to meet and talk with some of the most experienced metrology and measurement technologists and application experts in the country.
