For a vision of the future in precision measurement, read this…..

Make Measurement Matter exhibitor Vision Engineering will be using the event to unveil its new FOV CNC compact video measurement system, known as TVM 35 CNC. Thanks to the large FOV provided by the systems, the TVM series offers even faster video measurements than other systems in the Vision Engineering metrology range. TVM 35 CNC’s new motorised stage is stated to take this advantage to another level. Further, because it is able to see more of the component in the FOV, it allows the TVM systems to complete a measurement routine much more quickly than other manual video measurement systems. As a result, Vision Engineering can now provide even faster measurements with the motorised stage, as operators do not need to move the stage manually.

The motorised stage also significantly reduces the time taken to stitch multiple images together to create a super-image that can display the entire component in the FOV. This will be especially important to users when the part must be displayed in whole to carry out the measurement routine, for example when measuring wire insulation thickness, or measuring threads. Visitors to the Vision Engineering stand at Make Measurement Matter on March 12th can discover more about the ‘ins and outs’ of the TVM 35CNC machine and also discuss the wider range of the company’s extensive portfolio of ergonomic stereo microscopes and non-contact measuring equipment.

Make Measurement Matter is backed by the GTMA and showcases the latest advances in metrology and measurement excellence for manufacturing industry. This one-day opportunity provides senior engineers with a platform to meet and talk with some of the most experienced metrology and measurement technologists and application experts in the country.
